OpenDXM is the complete solution for the automated, reliable, secure and convenient exchange of engineering data for your company. OpenDXM enables both internal and external data exchange and can be easily integrated into your system environment.
Range of functions
OpenDXM provides you with
- A central database containing all the partner data for all the employees in a company. This avoids incorrect information and eliminates redundant data storage.
- The integration of leading CAD systems. This enables functions such as automatic import and export, initiating CAD routines and converting data via CAD methods.
- Checking incoming and outgoing CAD data. Check tools such as VALIDAT and Q-Checker can be integrated.
- An open architecture. This means that any tools can be integrated, e.g. for packing engineering data, converting CAD data, IPP (intellectual property protection) tools or tools for sending data via OFTP.
- Logging the data exchange processes for tracking and evaluation purposes.
- The option of integrating PDM systems for highly-efficient processes. OpenDXM integration modules integrate leading PDM systems from Dassault Systèmes, Siemens PLM, SAP, PTC and Oracle.
