PDM daten migration
PROSTEP offers solutions for phased PDM data migration that makes the risk manageable and enables parallel operation of legacy and new systems during the transition period.
Typical applications
- At SAAB Automotive, 15,000 CAD models were migrated from CATIA to Unigraphics. PROSTEP used a pipeline, specially developed in OpenDXM, to automate the mass conversion.
- At FIAT and GM Powertrain, CAD models had to be migrated between Germany and Italy. PROSTEP assumed responsibility for migrating the CAD models from four different systems (Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA V4, AUTOCAD and CADDS) to Unigraphics NX and adapting the models to meet the GM group's DCS quality requirements.
